As we continue to fight for our right to be seen as human beings, I'm beginning to notice a pattern.
This is a repeat of history in a sense, a repeat of overall events that occur when stigmatized members of society fight to have their voice heard.

"First they ignore us
Then a known figure slanders us with misinformation
Then they try to fight us
So we fight back harder
People slowly recognize their mistake and remember their humanity
Finally, we become a protected minority"

We're at stage three, where the hate is still very acceptable, and people can use hate symbols (antimap flag) and slurs (kiddy diddler/nonce) against us without any punishment.
Looks like it's time for stage four...

As a 15 year old, I know I'm alive for this societal change, because it's happening right in front of me, and I'm fighting for it.
