So I went to Twitter to check on someone I worried about, and I saw at least 3 people I considered friends ganging up on ASPD, with likes and support from other individuals. It hurts and upsets me personally, not only as someone with ASPD, but also as someone who has been spending time defending those affected with pedophilic disorder, who started off with having a lot of misconceptions about disorders, for example autism, but read, listened, and learned. Why does this community in particular find it difficult to accept that your disorders don't define you? Or do we again separate things into cutesy and scary? I was arguing against the stigma around pedophilia for years now. I don't want to see a stigma of equal power rise in the community.
